Cinebistro: The Coolest Movie Viewing Experience EVER!!!

Theater
If you have not gone to Cinebistro yet, you are missing out......I mean REALLY missing out. I heard about it a while ago when it first opened, but for some reason mistakenly believed that it didn't show current movies. However, I went there to see Taken 2 on its opening weekend and it was the best movie viewing experience I've ever had. The movie itself was lackluster; a far cry from the first version, but the theater was fabulous. From the waiting area to the theater, it was all luxury.

The waiting area has the look, feel and ambiance of a sexy lounge in Manhattan. You can order cocktails and watch a game or whatever is being projected across the entire wall behind the bar. When it's time to be seated for your movie, an attendant comes out, announces the show and escorts patrons to the theater. At the theater entrance, another attendant has a tray that holds special menu items suggested for your dining and sipping pleasure. Impressed yet?? Well in case you're not, prepare to be now.

The theater itself is phenomenal. Over-sized, plush leather theater seats equipped with fold down "tables" to hold your meal replace the usual cramped, badly upholstered theater seats most theaters have. The screen is incredible! First of all, it's HUGE!! Significantly and noticeably larger than a normal movie screen. Secondly, it boasts the clearest picture that I have ever seen. Before the previews started, there was an aquarium scene being shown. The vibrant colors of the deep blue water,  fish, coral, and other sea life was spectacular. It looked like if you touched it, it would be wet; seriously.

Once seated, the waitress came and took our order. Choosing a meal was no easy feat because of the extensive menu. If you're thinking chicken fingers and fries types of selections, think again. Cinebistro has an executive Chef who is preparing the likes of Lump Blue Crab Cakes, Brisket Sliders and Bay Crab Dip. The bartender isn't slacking either. They have a delicious assortment of Mojitos as well. My favorite: the Watermelon Mojito. It tasted like a liquid jolly rancher with a little punch of something extra. Absolutely delicious.

Additionally, I found out that they show Monday night football in one of the theaters every Monday! Cost of admission: zilch, nada, nothing, FREE! As you know, I'm not a football fan, but I wouldn't complain a bit about following my dude to watch a game on that huge screen with the definition to show every bead of sweat and blade of grass. Add to that, I can order from an extensive menu of delectable foods and delicious drinks. I'm there and happy to be there.
So, next time you want to go to dinner and a movie; do it at the same time.
